The Fred Levin Way Foundation will host the Second Annual Fred Levin Way Fest on Sunday, April 16, 2023, in Downtown Pensacola, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It’s a free community event celebrating the generosity of giving to those in need. Festival-goers will be able to explore the services of more than 50 nonprofits and will receive numerous essential items they likely need.

An Afternoon of FREE Family Fun
The Fred Levin Way Fest is an annual festival that promotes the services of Northwest Florida nonprofits in an exciting environment of family activities, including:
- Giveaways & Prizes Car show
- Games for kids of all ages
- Kids’ activities (such as inflatable games, face painting, ice cream, popcorn, and cotton candy)
- Food from local food trucks -- BBQ, Burgers, Cajun, German, Pizza, Po’Boys, Southern Cuisine, Vietnamese
- DJ playing the music that adults and kids love
- Live performances from local teenagers
- Free admission to the UWF downtown museums and to the YMCA
- Mounted and K-9 units for attendees to touch and interact
- And much more
Community Nonprofits Providing Free Essential Items
Most important, the Festival will highlight the services of more than 50 local nonprofits that provide assistance to Northwest Florida residents. These nonprofits will provide information to the attendees explaining the services they provide.
The nonprofits will also distribute, at no cost, essential items to the attendees, such as backpacks, blankets, books, diapers, first aid kits, hygiene kits, pet food, school supplies, soap, socks, thermometers, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, and underwear.
The First Annual Fred Levin Way Fest
The first Fred Levin Way Fest was held last year on Sunday, April 24, in Downtown Pensacola with astonishing results:
- 4,000 in attendance
- 1,200 free meals served
- 1,000 thermometers gifted
- 1,000 toothbrushes gifted
- 1,000 bus tickets gifted
- 1,000 prizes gifted, , including toys for all ages, fitness equipment, electronics, art, and science supplies
- 500 free admissions to the Pensacola Children’s Museum
- Hundreds of diapers, underwear, and socks gifted
- 40 nonprofit booths, each providing helpful supplies and information on the services they provide
- Countless resource and referral connections made among the nonprofits and attendees
